Liza Hirst is a painter living in the Dordogne, France. She received her Master of Arts from the HDK Academy of Arts in Berlin, Germany in 1983. She was invited as artist-in-residence at the School of Arts in Istanbul in 1986 and at the Valparaiso Foundation in Spain in 2000. Born in Kingston, Canada in 1956 she lived in Germany and Great Britain before she moved to France in 1995. Since 2006 her project DailyPaintings has become her main pursuit.
